That's just weird. How can you possibly go clubbing after you have discovered ceroc?

I'd rather cut my arm off and eat it, than stand in a hot nasty club...everyone off their tits on drugs.....jumping up and down on the dancefloor like a bunch of nutters.

Maybe I'm just getting old:sad:

Yes, you are. :na:

But apart from that, if the club isn't totally packed you can always MJ in the middle of the mongs who think that bouncing up and down is dancing.

Yeah - I went once before (and Fletch was there - before I knew she was on the forum) - and had a fantastic time. Anyway, 3 hours is too much - as is 2 hours, so the other option which looked good which was Kidderminster (Marc, Rachel) - is out, so it looks like Finchley tonight - dancing with the Chinese buffet (whoever she is).

Well, must admit that Marcos tonight was superb. Great to met up with the likes of DD, Chicklet, Claire S, Little Monkey, BTC,Fran, Heather, Lynday, Little Fish etc etc. Atmosphere was cracking, music kept people dancing and a really friendly group ... never been asked to dance so much in my life. Compared to my home area it was great ... but the locals seemed to think it was just another Marco freestyle ..... I'm jealous. It was worth the 400 mile round trip. Congratulations to Scott for such a great night.

PS ... beware, the locals have a thing about rubbing belly buttons ... and they don't care who they do it to .... do they Little Fish/Little Monkey?

All bar one of The Ten were in a different place. The presence of 1 of The Ten made them feel very good but they were acutely conscious of the absence of the nine (even those who haven't developed a consciousness of The Ten). Without The Ten, the world is a joyless and soulless place. With The Ten, it is full of light and harmony reigns.

I wish you luck in developing 'The Consciousness'. Maybe it will come to you in another 15 years.

well, went to Kidderminster last night.

The night started early I got there at 6pm to have snacks and a bit of socialising with the crew. It was nice to catch up with Val and Dave Marc and Rachel & Debbie you never seem to get chance for a proper chat when the music starts.

Its is such a lovely venue.:flower:

Early part of the evening I spent in the main room the music was just Fab, pop's played '?? bugle boy from company 3' in the absence of anyone that did Lindy I garbed Firstmove, under resistance, thank you.

OXO'S put the 'snake' on for me :respect:

Lovely to see Mystical the dress is just divine, and I do hope you had a better night.

My first dance with Martin Harper wasn't till about 10.30:tears: but then we had several.

I was in the blues room later for Marc's set I loved it I had some realy nice dances,:flower: Rachell you have a tremendous figure, short skirts really suit you, question is how short will you go.

It was nice to see Phil Roberts there strutting his stuff, he really has some character.:waycool: :D

Unexpected appearance by Mike Allsopp we had some lovely dances and a good old chin wagg, I think he really enjoyed the evening well he looked like he was? shame your not at STORM I could chew your ear a bit more.:really: :D

I have one big negative I was charged £2.60 for a glass of soda water, I have only been charge that much twice once at a posh hotel in Oxford and at the Hippodrome in London, and to be honest it was expected, but Kiddy Town Hall what a rip off!

Well, done to every one, with venues like this and Utopia in Evesham there is no need for me to travel so far.:worthy:

Yeah, I had a fab night too! I very often go to freestyles and hardly get asked to dance all night, but last night I got asked loads! :D Can't say I enjoyed the music, though. Just not my cup of tea, sorry.:flower:

Thanks for my dances, Gus! Really enjoyed them, although was knackered after 'White Wedding', Billy Idol....!

Also big thanks to Killingtime, Franck and Sheena for a very funny partner swapping dance. It was hilarious! Particularly when I all of a sudden found myself dancing with Sheena, and Franck was dancing with Killingtime....

And of course a big THANK YOU to pmjd, who made us a delicious (extremely creamy and extremely rich) marbled chocolate cheesecake, despite not even going to Marco's himself It went down extremely well with everyone who were lucky enough to get a piece!

Save them for when you come to London, the guys here know how to appreciate them.
But up north, they'll just want to wear them for themselves :really:

Also big thanks to Killingtime, Franck and Sheena for a very funny partner swapping dance. It was hilarious! Particularly when I all of a sudden found myself dancing with Sheena, and Franck was dancing with Killingtime....

I think that was the best "steal/swap" dance I've had to date :D brilliant!

Just back from London - what a great week-end! :D

Ashtons on friday, I understand it wasn't as busy as usual, and despite the music not really being to my taste, I had some very nice dances with old and new faces.

WCS on saturday, in the smallest and poshest venue I know :waycool: , with the usual faces :respect:
Special note to RK - for all the incontrolable  (first time I am unable to dance due to laughing so much - one day I'll manage that split properly and you'll be too busy drooling to laugh- I promise... )

Jango workshop today - what can I say I always love Amir's teaching - and T-dance afterwards, the music was just perfect for me (thanks Sheepman for one of your best set (again), and I'm not saying that because you played some of the tunes I suggested to you... ), I had some fab dances

Thanks all for the dances :flower: , nice to meet some new faces and always a pleasure to see forum friends, and hope to be back soon...

Made it through to Marco's on Saturday for the first time in ages - have to agree with you Gus - it WAS superb!!
It was great to see you and I LOVED my dance with you- dare I say our best ever?:flower:
Had lots of lovely dances with all my favourite men BTC Bill literally swept me off my feet!! West Coast Swing with Ross and Dance Demon, Pretzelmeister, to name but a few - Marco's just seems to attract all the best dancers. I had one dance with a young man who apologised for 'only being a beginner' - it was one of the best dances of the evening - simple moves , extremely well led and done IN TIME to the music - I wish I'd asked him his name!!:tears: I'll definitely be on the lookout for him if he's there next month - he's got great potential as a super dancer!!!
I have to disagree with Little Monkey though - I DID enjoy the music - what I heard - I was only there for a couple of hours - Scot has obviously been adding a lot of new tracks to his collection:clap: Keep up the good work Scot.
Well worth the trip on foggy, wet roads through to Edinburgh

My first time at Marco's! It was fab!:clap:

I had a great time, had lots of lovely, fun dances. Hardly sat down all night!
Really enjoyed the music too...lots of latin, which I love.

Thanks to my partners who showed me some new moves :D and for everyone being so friendly! :nice:

Was well worth the journey down from Inverness, despite the fog!

See you all next time,

I wen't to Nottingham on Sunday, forgot to post

Its was unexpectingly good.

I was told it was small and the dance leavel wasn't brill, but I had a wonderfull time, people were really frrindly,:flower: and up for fun,:respect: he music was Fab and I realy liked the slightly longer brake between the tracks, its was proberbly only 1 or 2 secons more but it gave you chance to get your breath back and say a proper thank you to you partner.

You get in free if its your first night :yeah:

I was told it finished at 11pm and keeping any eye on the clock and I thought this is the last track, but no another one came on, fab, ant then another brill, and then another. it finally finished about 11.40  I think that was the Dai (Tor) tipped Paul upside down and shook him about a bit. :waycool:

Its on every Sunday

There was a lesson at about 9am but I used the time to pop up stairs where Kev and Conney and Simon and Alex were trying to practise for the Blackpool champs, stop stressing guys. Is just dancing :na:

I think Dai has found some new play mates to have fun with :really:

Good one Paul :respect:

Had a lovely time at the boat on Sunday – have only just got around to posting as Beo only went back up to Aberdeen last night, and then the site was down… :(

Was lovely to see Jammy (thanks for the dance) and Wayaay again, had a lovely dance with Miguel and it was great to see Taz too  (though must ask her to lead me next time - please) Poor Beo couldn’t dance that much, but rather took to the boat (once he’d got his sea legs! :D ) and I think we’ll definitely be back again. He seemed particularly impressed with the free tea/coffee and cake (particularly the cake funnily enough!)

The floor was the usual hit and miss – quite sticky in places this time. They’ve hung loads and loads of little fairy lights from the rafters which gives the place a rather magical quality – and it was great watching the light fade from outside and the lights on the embankment come up. :wistful smilie:

Had two notable dances – one I’m sad to say with someone I shall be avoiding due to the deathlike-grip (I actually had to tell him to let go of me as I couldn’t complete the return he was trying to lead and he had my ring jammed so hard into my hand that it left an indentation afterwards :tears: ) and the attempt to do a lean with me despite the fact that he could barely hold his own balance  The other dance more than compensated as I had the best feedback I have ever received… :D now where is that dance compliment’s thread?

Apparently there's a new cerocphotos.com t-shirt available.

Without realising it, I was modelling it on Friday night at Ashtons!
