iTunes lets you burn "data" DVDs of music which other iTunes will recognise – but most DVD players won't.

er..use Nero - you can look here (http://shopping.lycos.co.uk/search/nero_6_software.html) or possibly get it free with a PC dvd drive - (about £20) and it will burn music onto a DVD by dragging and dropping. Most DVD players should play this. There is no such thing as an Audio DVD in the same way you get an audio CD but if your DVD player does NOT support mp3 playback (surprising) then you could author a new DVD with music attached to pictures, again by dragging and dropping.

In that case though, I imagine the authoring process would be next to impossible due to the sheer number of music files we are talking about :) Don't know, as it sounds silly :)

(Similarly with iTunes and mp4 files.)

Thanks I've had a look at nero I used to use it years ago!Cool software

Just a quickie are these two products the same? I found them both here - which one should I buy?
here (http://shopping.lycos.co.uk/search/nero_6_software.html)

I've got too many cds now and too many downloads, so I'm catologuing it while I'm snowed in! Any suggestions will be very great- cas I've never done it before so am just skimming along!
All I'm doing is trying to stuff more onto a DVD so that I don't have to change the Cd so often and I'm putting moods together, going to sleep, going dancing, chilling, working (no lyrics to get in the way of my thoughts) stuff to stimulate my creativity

I wasn't so surprised mine didn't, though it does do CDs of MP3 music.

I'd hate to imagine the work needed to create a "real" DVD of 1000 music tracks.

You can buy software to do it pretty much all for you. I think the latest Roxio software will do it, and this website also sells a product to do it.

That looks like a handy program – I like the way it offers a choice of high quality or high quality audio. ;)
