It's time to build the ultimate dance routine, one move at a time.

So, starting off:

First move!

I accidentally caught with the left and ended up doing another first move:tears:

catch follow's right hand below left, raise both hands to turn lady acw, duck under and 'appear' magically in between follow's arms as the turn is finished, and bodyroll :devil: (did anybody follow my confused brain?)


PS: what are we dancing to by the way?

...{I think we are still double handed}... Basket, pull follower back and pivot right to face while releasing and catching double handed again, turn self in to follower's right for man's basket, step backwards pivoting the follower to face while releasing both and catching right to right, turn follower and roll elbow while rotating 180º offering right behind, pull through under right arm, catch follower's right wrist with left hand while moving it right and send follower left into free-spin...

Does a slow Comb .. feels smug, steps back forgets for a second and catches right , straight into another YoYo.

(I'm only telling it as it happens.. which is scarily close to reality :wink:)

...run out of things to say, barrel roll out of first move, barrel roll on the return {archi-spin?}, man-spin start, turn into lady walk-around, catch left and turn follower out while they are still to the left and step in collecting into ballroom hold, couple of mambo-steps, on the follower stepping back, slide out to double handed hold, remember something to say, swizzle, duck under the arm releasing right hand and encouraging follower to travel round back with the right on their lower back (keeping left at shoulder), step backwards to pivot follower and collect into ballroom hold, manhattens, continue chatting...

Follower gets bored chatting.. Being a conscientious lead I pick up on this and segue into an Arm jive around the world and into a basket.. push lady forward.. pull back pivot 180 then unwind keeping hold of the left hand

(see I do know more than just one move ;) )

Keep hold of the left, into a first move then offer right leg, lady wraps over with her right leg into a rotating tango lunge (my favourite move!).

Follow with a first move, swap hands for a yo yo (Just for you, Beo)....

:confused: Dont know what that is but you both do a spin at the end anyway. Dancing separately but opposite each other do a couple of carefully-selected moves from the David Brent dance routine in The Office:)

...get bored and decide to move before foreheads glue together with sweat...start bending the knees to move downwards and release both arms, pivot 180º within follower's looped arms while descending and reach behind to rest fore-arms on outside of follower's legs, palms out. Stand, stepping forward and take both hands in cattapult hold, take to left side and release right hand, on spin out, collect and rotate with the momentum to descend into a seducer...

...On the exit, block and lead into another first move, but step forward, following the follower instead of turning them out, a couple of mambo walks, keep the step pattern going as move to the follower's right, taking left to left shoulder and right onto follower's far hip, on a step back, continue the momentum with the left to turn the follwer into a sqwizzle, resume stepping pattern, drop right hand from the follower's right hip and collect on the other side as transfer back to the mambo walks, ...

...shoulder slide, but keep the hand on the shoulder and step forward as the move finishes to be in a close comb, drop down slowly over a few beats and duck head under the follower's arm so it's on the right shoulder and stand, extend right arm to follower's far hip and block them as stepping behind/around, wrapping them into the right side and taking the left hand offered infront. Transfer follower from right to left side, turn infront of follower taking their left behind them in half-nelson and keeping right low at lead's left hip, release right and place on top of follower's left shoulder, transfering lead through this contact point, lead follower to duck under as they step infront, unwinding the other arm (kept low while they are turning), release the left as lead goes into shoulder-led mambo walks...

no, nothing doing, she gives you a dumb look. Lead a travelling spin and then catch right to right hold, then lead her into a yo-yo with tango attitude....
