Strictly Come Dancing 5 - potential list of celebs

Some of the chatter is now turning to who will be in series 5. Given the required mix of youth experience, sportmen/women, newsreaders, actors, my suggestions (starter for 10) are:

John Suchet (ITN newsreader)
Morrisey
Melanie Blatt (from the All Saints)
Sally Gunnell (400m Gold)
Lee Sharpe (ex Man Utd)
Caroline Aherne (dressed as Mrs. Merton)
Bamber Gascoigne (one for the intellectualites)
Sarah Beeny
Pierce Brosnan (now he no longer has job)
Brenda Fricker (Irish, Oscar winner)
Charley Webb (soap)
Geoff Boycott (to make sure another cricketer didn't win it)

I think there are 2 qualifications to go on the show:

1. Be a celeb
2. Have no real dancing expertise

I know I qualify on one of those criteria - but both? :)

Baruch - that is a top list - definite improvement on mine - and I think you might have 1 or 2 who actually could be there. :clap:

Charlotte Church was in my original thoughts (a she sometimes is - I like Crazy Chicks) and I'm not sure why I took her out.
