Noticed this is on Radio 4 this morning (10:30):
Fat Lads don't Dance
Russian born Lilia Kopylova, the winner of last year's Strictly Come Dancing, was bemused by the admission of her victorious partner, Darren Gough, that dancing wasn't something young Yorkshire lads did. She wants to find out why. With the help of her professional partner and husband, Darren Bennett, the dancer and choreographer Lionel Blair, a dance historian and some Yorkshire lads, she tries to unearth the origins of the British male's passion for propping up the bar rather than doing the pasa doble. Sounds interesting... (will probably be in "Listen Again" if you miss it).
