A friend has been checking out the local dance shops and nowhere stocks Blochs so he wants to order them online. Good website suggestions please?

I know there are a range of options but also know that some have less than satisfactory delivery times so somewhere that's a decent price and is reliable is what I'm looking for - any personal experiences?

But bring the catalogue anyway for him to have a look at. And me. I haven't bought any dance shoes for ages.

i am getting a pair of b&w's! :clap:They look fab. I have a pair, though I mainly wore them for the swing classes, don't think I've worn them recently at Ceroc (probably because they are leather soled and the floor is fast enough with suede).

Any other Bloch website recommendations folks? I told my friend I was consulting the collective wisdom of the forum... :flower:

not a website suggestion - a bit more real world - ring your nearest bloch shop (http://www.blochworld.com/home.cfm?CFID=946343&CFTOKEN=95924913) and see if they do mail order - I know that all bloch shops in Aus do mail order not sure about here though

I found http://www.totaldance.co.uk (http://www.totaldance.co.uk)to be really good. I got my Blochs from them and they were delivered within about 3 days also when the stitching was coming away from them :tears: , there was no problems in getting them changed and they did that quickly too  .

Just got a pair of their dance shoes last week and they came within 3 days too and they are fab!!

Aren't they a bit passee, sort of ordinary, run of the mill and, dare I say it, dated ???

But, I'm thinking of man shoes and no doubt lady world is very different.

If I do make an addition to my trusty Bloch Stealths I might be tempted by those red and whites.

I bought my current Blochs from Stagestruck (http://www.stagestruck.co.uk/), but unfortunately their web site seems to be down. :(

At the time I also considered The Dancer's Shop (http://www.thedancersshop.co.uk/), but I can't remember why I went with Stagestruck – perhaps it was because they were more "local". :D

At Camber I ordered a pair of new Blochs from Felix (http://www.felixdancewear.co.uk/) (they didn't have the colour I wanted in my size). I was impressed by the range they had on display there. Don't have the shoes yet, but they said it would take longer if they didn't have them in stock. I hope to get them by the end of the week though.

Is that 'sheeple' deliberate, or a Freudian slip ???

Whatever, taking that at face value, I just do not believe it. You're a born leader and taking on NI is a giant leap of faith. I wish you very well and hope that tortured province can at last learn to live with itself and you are part of the healing process.

Sheeple as in a combination on sheep and people (people who flock with others following a leader)

thank you

I've been thinking about getting a pair of dance trainers / proper dance shoes as now I feel I'm committed enough to my "hobby" to warrant them

However I've noticed a strange occurrence , I'll see a pair of shoes I like, look at the available sizes and they're go up to 9, 10, 10 1/2 .. .. I'm a size 11 !

I've seen some that go up that size (The bloch mesh dance sneakers for example) but most don't... Is this a case of "If you've big feet you can't dance?"
