I was in London yesterday attending this Wedding engagement party thing and was blown away by the lovely venue it was in. The first impression I got when I walked in was.. WOW this would make a great ceroc freestyle venue. Its a very modern posh looking building with a HUGE dance floor.

Unfortunatly theres no stage but the Ceiling is V high. Also has a balcony looking down into the dance area and there are no annoying Pillars. Theres no bar facilities as such but is definatly worth considering as a venue. From the looks of things it had Giant air condition/vent type thing all around the hall. I'm guessing this may not be a cheap place to hire, but I could be wrong since it is still a community centre.

Anyway enough dribble the details can be found at http://www.27gampatidar.com you'd need to look into the "IK Suite".

Its in Wembley (nr. Wembley park station)

The other suite there had a much smaller dancefloor and was mainly carpetted. One side of the wall all the way down is completly windowed, so I'm not sure if it would work too well in the summer.

also the place has its own car park. Anyway, just thought organisers might wanna check it out. I know nothing about planning freestyles just passing information on.

I think it's a kind of community/religious/charitable club with very strict criteria for being eligible to join:

I found this on the joining up page -

Who should submit the form?
You should only submit the form if the answer to all the following questions is YES.

• You are a person, who is Patidar? (This includes Patel, Amin or Desai only)
• You belong to 27 Gam ‘Gor’?
• You are married and living in a European Country?

Still none the wiser really

One suspects that integration and embracing the British way of life, (Modern Jive, Ceroc and all) wouldn't be high on their priority list for reasons to hire

BTW, I did notice that one of the Patel's is spelt PAtel... two capitals... oooh dare to be different! :D

Saw this and thought ooooh, the main hall looks lovely but if it were teamed with the Courtyard and Orangery, it would make such a lovely venue for a Summer Ball!

Bet its an arm and a leg though

There's already a great venue in Wembley. Ceroc on a Tuesday at Brent Town Hall, Forty Lane. It is huge, has a great floor, and a beautiful suspended draped ceiling. And very large stage.
